TOR and the Nighttime Art of Anonymity is a proficient, quick read for anyone interested in learning almost TOR. While perhaps a bit more than paranoid than necessary, it conveys to both the novice and intermediate user the criticality of exercising caution when using TOR or visiting sites on the Darknet.

Good tech pointers but lacks structure

Information technology provides a lot of skillful tech instructions as what to practise and to avoid, if y'all are starting in the anonymity road.
Overall, I found it a bit disruptive since it just seemed like a agglomeration of topics the writer remembered, and then just wrote some content nigh it.
Buy if you want to start experimenting. To learn more than on how it works, better to find an alternative.

Talks about the tools and the technologies for people to reclaim their right to privacy. Does not delve into the cryptographic technicalities, so this is dandy for laymen.
Touches on freenet, tails, and a few others as well.

Very informative with a very layman's approach, in a good style.

I profoundly enjoyed the humor. Was taught a lot of essential data. I will be suggesting this read to many more than people.

Good Reference for Anonymous Browsing

Very proficient rundown of the nighttime net and what information technology takes to be anonymous online these days. He makes a very skilful point about being careful virtually what you postal service online most yourself publicly and the need to continue most personal information private.

An "ok" book on the bailiwick of Tor, PGP, encryption and online privacy vs anonymity (ii very different things). If you're looking for a ground-up introduction, look elsewhere. Henderson'southward intended audience is not clear: in some cases he glosses right over concepts a novice would demand a basic introduction to, bold the reader knows exactly what he's talking about; in other cases he agonizingly breaks relatively elementary concepts downwards as if explaining to his grandmother; without consistency. This book is meant for someone with some background in cyber security and computer science. If this doesn't apply to yous there is still useful data that will ship you down the right lines of inquiry. I would recommend reading something more elementary instead. The prose is also quite poor, but what do you lot expect from an writer such as this? At some indicate it becomes endearing and he does write clearly.

Aardige intro, wel snel verouderd. Toch wat opgestoken. Niet zo geschikt als luisterboek.

Yous need to know the basic of the subject before to read it.

This book is non for novices. It is well written but you need to have at least a basic cognition of the subject.
